The Environment

In general there is little information on how to care for our planet, but lately in schools, from what I've seen in my practice, has spread the theme of environmental stewardship in students in kindergarten through high school and even in university, our faculty there are some practices that help care for our planet.

In my house together all milk containers, and glass separated from the end of the month and deposited them in the containers from supermarkets

Generally I use public transportation to get around within the city, but the weekends I like to go biking with my friends at the Cerro San Cristobal, and am very tired but I think it's a way to help the subject of pollution.

I'd like to belong to the organization Greenpeace, because they are concerned to protect both nature and living beings on our planet, the same man has destroyed, but I've never been for lack of information, although I would in a concrete future.

The only thing I can think of to reduce the carbon cycle paths improve the city to encourage people to use their bikes and stop using cars that pollute a lot, also could promote the use of electric cars that make well for our planet.

Santiago is one of the counties with more pollution in our country, for the large number of vehicles, and people do not make any kind of practices that help to reduce these high levels, I believe that if they made good on television advertising in the streets, etc.. You could create awareness in the minds of people and inherit a better planet for our future generations. Bye classmates.

The vacations

I think that vacations are very important for the body and mind of the peoples, because this help s to reduce the stress and to increase you job performance because was just I need the last year. Because I had so many things to do in the university.

My last holidays were this last summer, in January. I went to the south from Chile. I traveled with my family, because all the years we travelled together, is like a familiar tradition. The first place we visited was Valdivia, we stay in there about five days in a small cabin, but every day we used to go to different places like museums, nearby lakes or beaches.

One of these beaches was called Niebla, and when we get there we really found out why it was called that way. It was like a clouds factory. In Niebla, my sister went into the sea and after a few minutes, Vanessa revised that in her pocket was still her mobile phone! It is very funny. We went all over the center of Valdivia, the restaurants, the traditional crafts, the Calle-Calle Lake, the motor launch, ever the marine wolves in the shore lake.

Also we went for a seal ride, visiting an island with a big colonial fortress. My best friend came with us, and in the return journey we left them in Pitrufquen, because she has family there. Then, we arrived at Villarica's lake to stay for one night.

I to get there by car with my family and my friend, but the way of transport the most we used were the foots, because the landscape of the south are amazing.

I chose the article called "ICT lessons in schools are highly unsatisfactory, says Royal Society", this talk about the  lessons of computer science in the United Kingdom. The ICT meaning  the Information and Communications Technology.

In this country, there are more computers for pupil what in almost any other European country, but this dont`t have good result in the learning process of the children. The Royal Society conducted a study into the teaching of computing  in United Kingfom school and said that the teacher are lost their way. The study programmes of the teacher don`t are good and detrimental to all the students of this country.

So Michael Gove, the education secretary, announced the creation of new programme of study designed by industry and universities.

Eric Schmidt, Google's chairman, critique the United Kingdom education system, claiming to the country about your bad administration.

In conclusion, I can said that do not is very important have the more techcology resource if the teachers do not have a good use of them.

The Movies

I don `t know to much about the film world, but I like to watch the movies in the cinema or in the computer of my house by internet.

I think the role of movies influence in the thinking of the society, and is very strong. The movies show situations of persons based in the real life, in the present, past and future, like the worldwide wars, in the movie “Life is Beauty”.

The movies as educational resources, are very useful, can to obtain many significant learning.

I like to watch movies of all kind, but I prefer the romantics or drama movies, always cry with this. My favorite movie is “Pride & Prejudice”, based in the Jane Austen´s Book, of the director Joe Wright who also to made the movie “Atonement”. I really love both movies.

The last movie I saw, was "One Day", where to work Anne Hathaway, a really good actress in my opinion.

My favorite country:

I would like go to Mexico. I never have been in this country, but I think this place have many and diverse, beautiful landscape.  I have seen Mexico City only in magazines photography; our beaches are amazing and the culture legacy is something invaluable of this place. Also, I don't know speak English, so this place is perfect for my.

I don't know a lot of Mexico City, only the things I learnt in the high school, but always interested me. This country was inhabited for the civilization Aztec, so have a mystic air, in my opinion. 

If I could travel to Mexico City, I would visit Teotihuacan, place where the Aztec ruins are, but also would like to do anything amazing and unforgettable, like fly over the Cancun beaches in paragliding and know the life night of the place.

I wouldn't like go to work in this place; I don't want to be away from my family. I prefer travel to Mexico for enjoy the amazing landscape that this place offer for the tourists.

Unusual Term

The term of this year will be very strange for the majority of the student of this country. We will have that finish the term in the summer… yes, isn’t a joke, we will have study in the period of festivity, this is very sad. 

This Merry Christmas and New Year, are dates what I never will forgot, because I will be studying while my parents will be celebrate.  I took only one subject “Ingles 4” but I have to hand in the thesis in March whit my classmate Pamela Lara. I know what I have only one subject, but the thesis is so important for my degree what stress me. 

 I never think in a summer whit class, but if this is the consequence to demand a better education, we will do it. So, encourage classmates!
